16 When Samson went to Gaza, he saw a prostitute there who pleased him, so he went in to be with her. ² Word went out to the men of Gaza that Samson had arrived. So they surrounded the house and waited quietly for him at the city gate, thinking, “When morning comes, we will strike him down.”
